Visiting Lake Sebu was a great experience. I learned a lot of traditions and customs of T’boli tribe. The place has a lot to offer from their food, ethnic attire, houses, dialect, and lot of other things that show its abundance. I was inspired in many ways because despite the new trends of the modern era, they were able to preserve their culture for the next generation.

In continuation to our trip in Lake Sebu, we were invited to visit at Sunrise Garden Lake Resort. I really appreciated the landscape and the place. The infinity pool was very inviting considering the magnificent view of the lake along with the strip of refreshingly pleasant looking cottages on the shore while enjoying the fresh air.

Sunrise Garden Lake Resort is a family owned business which started 10 years ago. Situated at Sitio Outlet, Barangay Lake Seloton, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. A 10 to 15 minute of ride, depending on the mode of transportation, going to the resort.

Just like any other resorts, I also experienced to manoeuvre a ‘banca’ or a traditional canoe. It was accessibly situated near the shore for photo enthusiasts like me. The calmness of the lake and the breathtaking view of the mountain made my morning sparkle. It was like a paradise because of the attractive nature that GOD created.

There are so many fish cages around the lake where most of the locals get their source of income. This was also the reason why the resort was known as one of the supplier of live tilapia in Lake Sebu.

The resort offer rooms for a restful overnight stay depending on various types. Guests can choose from a simple bamboo walled design cottage rooms to a furnished accommodation with view deck to enjoy the sight of lake and its nature.

Different tilapia dishes were served for our breakfast. Freshly catch tilapia coming from their fish pen made their food delectable. The crunchiness of their deep fried tilapia was my favorite dish. It was a great experience visiting this resort and this place was one of the finest in the province.
