The Province of Capiz is known as the "Seafood Capital of the Philippines" due to its abundance in marine life from prawns to crabs, marlins to catfish, and mussels to angel wings (diwal). Capiz will not only excite your eyes but also your palate with delicacies that would surely make you long for more seafood.
Every summer, the Province celebrating their annual Sinaot Festival. The festival became the centrepiece of the towns’ annual municipal and religious fiesta drawing an increasing number of tourists and “balikbayans”.
Tentative Schedule of activities:
- Procession and a concelebrated mass at the parish church.
- Street-dancing to the tune of the Latin beat garbed in colourful Carribean costume.
