After my challenging Hagimit adventures, my next stop is the home of abyss, Maxima Aqua Fun. The resort is lack of white sandy beach for which Samal Island is famous for but it is home to the first giant tarpaulin water slide in the country and host to several other fun-filled water sports activities like swimming, jet skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, banana boat ride, water trampoline, and even fishing.

Large Slide

Giant Slide

The giant water slide is the main attraction of Maxima. It is made of canvass material about 40 meters long, and a meter wide and it usually takes some six seconds slide from top to water splash right into the sea. The drop off to the sea is five feet during high hide and 12 feet during low tide.

Trampoline

Trampoline is another attraction in the resort. It is perfect for jumping that will give the visitors added fun.

When I visited the resort, I have no time to experience those activities because my main reason there is to discover the place and take photos for my blog. I enjoyed watching the beach and the sunset which gave me a relaxing feeling.

Aircon rooms are priced at Php3,500-Php4,200 per night and non-air con rooms costs Php1,500 overnight/ 2pax and Php1,200.00 daytour.
