Ibon Ebon Festival (literally means 'bird - egg') features the municipality of Candaba as the home of thousands of migratory birds from different parts of the globe.





How to get there:

Visitors can travel easily from Manila to Pampanga through an hour bus trip to exit at San Fernando, Pampanga Php80.00, and from there take the jeepney ride straight to Candaba for Php27.00 per head. 

If you are traveling by car, just head to the NLEX (North Luzon Expressway) and take the Candaba Viaduct exit. The trip is perfect for visitors who opts for a day travel. If you plan to stay overnight, there are rest houses available and also at the Mayor’s compound. the rates ranges from 600php to 1,200php per room. It is also advised that you bring your hiking shoes and comfortable clothes for the long walks along the swaps. Also take with you an insect repellant and sunblock to protect your skin from the mosquitos and the sun.

A tour guide is also available for 150php per head and a tourism office is also on hand for any information that you might need.
